Privacy policy

This policy explains what JobDiscovery (jobdiscovery.in) collects, why, and the control you have over your data.

What we collect

• Account details — your email, name, and authentication identifiers.
• Résumé data — with your consent at upload, we store your résumé securely so you can reuse it; it stays private to you. We extract its text to build your profile and send only that text to our AI, never the file itself. Sharing your résumé with employers is a separate opt-in that is off by default, and you can delete your résumé and profile at any time.
• Usage data — searches, matches, and preferences, to provide and improve matching.
• Payment data — handled by our payment providers (Razorpay in India, Lemon Squeezy elsewhere). We never see or store your full card details.

How we use it

To match you to relevant roles, generate your score and suggestions, run your subscription, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

Applying to a role takes you to the employer's own site under their terms. We share the minimum necessary with our payment and infrastructure providers. We never sell or rent your data.

Retention and deletion

Raw résumé files are deleted right after extraction. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Privacy; deletion is permanent.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep the app working.
